This suit is an actual semi-dry suit, unlike a lot of wet suits that are sold as semi-drys. It has a sealed zip across the shoulders and is sealed at the neck with comfortable smooth neoprene.
No water going down your back like wetsuits!
This suit is ideal for Irish conditions.
The ideal wetsuit for cold water diving, constructed from 6.5 mm neoprene, with a comfortable, body-contoured, cut.
The thermal insulation afforded by a wetsuit is directly proportional to its ability to prevent or restrict water exchange. Only secondarily does it depend on the thickness of the neoprene. In fact, with traditional wetsuits a snug fit is essential to achieving good thermal protection. Isotherm has revolutionized this concept with a wetsuit that is comfortable and easy to put on, and does not bind or restrict the diver. The seal is the embodiment of perfection.
